Covers primarily Eastern Ma, RI, NH and Maine and in all of New England as well. Steve started his career working in his father’s machine shop in the early 70’s drilling, tapping and sweeping floors. He went on and Graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 1984 and was hired to work for Methods Machine Tools in Sudbury, Ma. He traveled all over the Country installing and servicing CNC machine tools learning manufacturing practices from many different shops and industries. He moved into an outside sales role at Dapra Corp for a few Years and then was hired by American Tool Supply/MSC in 1996, Specializing in aerospace, mold, medical and general engineering. In 2016 he became the new Owner/President of HPT.
Jody began his career in 1982 in the tooling and machining industry at G.E. Ordinance Aerospace Division as a machinist. He worked in the machining industry at two other smaller paper machine manufacturers before being hired in 1992 by Abrasive and Tools in Auburn, MA as an application specialist for tooling and abrasive products. Jody was hired by American Tool Supply, Chicopee, MA in 1998 as a sales engineer specializing in cutting tools and abrasives . He is presently a Sales Engineer for HPT covering Western Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Vermont.
Karen’s role at HPT is the Treasurer. She has 30+ Years in the accounting field which include payroll, accounts receivable and payables.
HPT utilizes QuickBooks and dynaMACS software for all our sales forecasting, distributor growth, and the most important one – customer satisfaction.
